FREE TRAINING!
A free 90-minute focus group training will be held from 4-5:30 p.m. on February 21st. This training will be led by Linda Walls, a local facilitator with 25+ years of experience in community advocacy. Hosting a focus group is an effective way for agencies, non-profits, or faith centers to gather information for planning or evaluation purposes. Ms. Walls will teach participants how to conduct a focus group, form questions, and collect information. Anyone who takes the training, then volunteers to lead at least one focus group as part of the Local Management Board needs assessment will receive a training certificate. No prior experience is necessary and the workshop is free and open to the public.
